Diagnostic Criteria for Acute Pericarditis
Diagnostic criteria include the following:

- pericarditic typical chest pain,
- pericardial friction rubs,
- widespread ST segment elevation or PR depressions not previously reported, and
- new or worsening pericardial effusion.
